Some suprise planning for propose, for my friend.

Some how my colleague are plan to have a surprise propose with his girl friends.
I m the one who help him to capture photo and videos.
Is really no any idea for video cause I seldom recording video before this.

At weekend morning we go to a seaside beach that the plan is gotta work to.
We measure the place and plan to put about 2000 candles light up a path way and the end my friends waiting. After that fireworks works out some feel.

Nice weather that morning


Hmm ...I m nervous, that I afraid take the video no so nice result.
I may borrow some video light from my friends who playing photography stuff because the plan are going to start at sunset to night.

After some discussion on the beach, a path of sunrise light rays crossing from the gap of trees. Is a good chance to photography, and again, I have bring my dollfie.

So this is the result.

Capture of flying creatures

Some how I like to capture bird that I spotted around high and far located.
So I need zoom lens. What I have here is 50-230mm lens for Fuji X-mount.
Autofocus is not a good choice so I normally use MF for bird capture.





some how still not a lot nice photo for flying creatures ...... I have to go out often.

Wide angle needed

My current use camera is Fujifilm X-M1 with 16-50mm kit lens.
Currently 16mm is not enough wide for my image as I think in my mind.
Ultra wide or fish eye may need to purchase. But Fuji X-mount lenses both all are expensive than others.
So, what I have think is, I use back my previous camera Sony NEX F3, with 16mm F2.8 pancake lens, I have extra added a fisheye filter to make the 16mm look wider.

Lens dust need check, cause my lens are just putting in camera bag but not in dry box, I don't even have a dry box.


A nice weather, bring out my dollfie to photography with Sony NEX + fisheye.



Also, added a reflector behind the camera to make the avoid the back light.



Is too hot outside there, I can't take more pictures cause just setting up dollfie already make my whole body wet.

In future I will use back my old camera since it still fun to use it.

1st Anime event in Night club

As the title, it is first time I have ever seen, anime events held in NIGHT CLUB.
But fortunately, the time is day time but not at night, that's sounds weird.
And I m really late for this update cause this event is held on January.

The night club is located in Penang Times Square, named SOJU ROOM.
I like the lighting and stage area, and it is big enough as a night club but not enough for an event held.

As the event rent the night club, the rental should be higher than hall or shopping centre, so entrance ticket is necessary. But what I see is, some a lot of people entering without purchasing ticket because of the entrance area too dark and those staff are unable to check when a lot of people passing by.



Location is good, band performance is great, but I not really like those host speaking.


I like the band performance such as the drummer is cosplay as Spiderman !

LoveLive! I m LoveLiver!

Since 2013, I fell in love in a anime called LoveLive!

So hard to describe why I so like it cause the story line is no special as science fiction, funny story or anything else.

It just a normal school story with those 9 girls hope to rescue their school that lack of student enrollment, the 9 girls try the best to become the school idol which is famous trend in the story world to attract more student enrollment into their school to save and prevent the school from abolished.

The final stage in the story is LoveLive! , which is a big competition for many of school idols present their talent as singing and dancing as idol.
The 9 girls (group name : μ's) finally become the most famous school idol in whole Japan.
Ok ... This story actually is about a dream, a hope, that nice thing can learn from it.
I m not a good story teller but I just want to say I really fell in love on this anime.

As a fans for LoveLive!, mostly people will call "LoveLiver" (not love your liver means).
And actually most of LoveLiver also love those characters voice actor, cause those voice actor are singing and dancing just like the characters in anime， it is totally synchronize ! Those voice actress already held few times concert in Japan.

I buy a blu-ray of the anime movie version, inside got a code to get a lottery of ticket for FINAL LOVELIVE concert. Yes, it is final this year, and I decided fly to Japan to join this concert.



But unfortunately, I can't get the ticket, and the ticket are selling super higher price in Yahoo auction Japan which I can see almost 150,000 yen is a normal price.

No choice, then what I should choose ? We got choice of live streaming in theater.
No choice ...... this anime are too famous.

Next month I will fly to Japan again, because the power of LOVELIVE! and I m a LOVELIVER!

Star photograph

I like the star on the sky at night.
Some star are hiding and our human eye won't able to see them all.
So that I m using the camera, to find out how many stars are hiding from our human vision ......... ok, I know stars are uncountable, I m just talk nonsense :P

What I try to photograph is hiding in the dark, that's why I need to make a long time exposure with camera shutter. As long as the shutter open to let the light going in the camera sensor, as more lighten thing will appears in photo.

While shutter make a long exposure will make some moving object trace or something like light painting things ...... Earth are rotate in every second, so the star will become line while long time exposure such as 30 sec (max limit on default setting on every camera), that's we called: STAR TRAIL.

So that I have photograph some star trail testing.
Photograph below are shooting on December 2015. 
 
Star trail 160 sec, on the bottom captured the flight passing over.


Star trail 500 sec, focal zoom to 50mm


A test shooting with close up object, i forgot to use high aperture setting to make foreground clear ......

Above all the photograph are shooting around my house, that area still got lot of light pollution so that I m going to a beach at night to test.

For first time shooting in the very dark situation, the image no good as I aspected.
 And some of the cloud are disturbing ......

Before going to beach, take a look of the sunset without sun on hill.


I get the star with higher ISO, but you can see the cloud is it ? So disturbing !




Next time hopefully can shooting without cloud at this shooting point.
Oh ya, the location is somewhere very South place at Penang Island.
Looking for chance to going there again in future.

Bought some small equipment

Some how I see some web shop got promotion of clearance stock so I buy some little equipment. 

Such as image below, a small LED flash fill light, in box description is write: for selfie ...... lucky that I won't selfie cause if u use this thing to selfie, will make u blind for a second.



I pick some useless packing plastic and make as diffuser, soften the light from this LED.
Some how the result is quite good as I aspect.

I got just purchase the SEGA prize figure LOVELIVE! Minami Kotori from Singapore shop so I decide to use it as a test. Here is the result.

After that I decide to use back my old camera SONY NEX

Cheap toys from some low cost market

good result for interior lighting, but not for exterior. The power of LED no enough for exterior light (except night)
