Penang Hot Air Balloon festival 2016

I have late on that day cause those hot air balloon is just rise up at morning and late evening. No choice so I have to wait till evening after that.

Have capture some step by step that how to setup and rise up the hot air balloon.

Bucket with gas inside.


Expand the balloon from a bag.


Using powerfull fan to push some air inside the balloon.


After that pull it up


And put some gas (or may be helium ?) inside to make it continue rise up.


Done


And also got another special shape hot air balloon such as zebra.


Rocket with alien and some how ice scream ..........


That is a lot of people don't know to make some space for them to setup, they standing very near by the balloon and very disturbing. I really don't like this situation and I keep photograph from far place.

hmm

There is too many people waiting to ride it, I have no chance on that, I hate long queue, so I give up on that.

Hopefully I can join again in next time, I love hot air balloon.

Soft box light

Some how I have create a soft box and install a small LED light inside.
The soft box is small so I just able to use it for toys photography.
As a result is good for me, sure I still have to use reflector from opposite side.



Playing and love with LED light after that.

Some photoshoot on February 2016 .... late post

Some how I uploaded lot of photo but no time to text this blog, crazy I.
And conclusion is ... I make a post that combine all photo together, easy.


This is capture on Feb 7 ... and that day is Chinese new year. I look clear on the sky without cloud so I took a chance to capture stars just outside my house.



This is capture on Feb 9, that day is 2nd day of Chinese new year.
I have went to my grand mom house and that place is fisherman village area and of course, it near the sea. So I capture the clear and sharp horizon sea.



This both image is capture on Feb 10 ... 3rd day of CNY and I just out with my friends to Penang island, a place called Straits Quay.




After Chinese new year for a few days I haven't capture anything and then I capture again stars outside my house again.

Some suprise planning for propose, for my friend.

Some how my colleague are plan to have a surprise propose with his girl friends.
I m the one who help him to capture photo and videos.
Is really no any idea for video cause I seldom recording video before this.

At weekend morning we go to a seaside beach that the plan is gotta work to.
We measure the place and plan to put about 2000 candles light up a path way and the end my friends waiting. After that fireworks works out some feel.

Nice weather that morning


Hmm ...I m nervous, that I afraid take the video no so nice result.
I may borrow some video light from my friends who playing photography stuff because the plan are going to start at sunset to night.

After some discussion on the beach, a path of sunrise light rays crossing from the gap of trees. Is a good chance to photography, and again, I have bring my dollfie.

So this is the result.



After that PS some contrast, done.

Capture of flying creatures

Some how I like to capture bird that I spotted around high and far located.
So I need zoom lens. What I have here is 50-230mm lens for Fuji X-mount.
Autofocus is not a good choice so I normally use MF for bird capture.





some how still not a lot nice photo for flying creatures ...... I have to go out often.

Wide angle needed

My current use camera is Fujifilm X-M1 with 16-50mm kit lens.
Currently 16mm is not enough wide for my image as I think in my mind.
Ultra wide or fish eye may need to purchase. But Fuji X-mount lenses both all are expensive than others.
So, what I have think is, I use back my previous camera Sony NEX F3, with 16mm F2.8 pancake lens, I have extra added a fisheye filter to make the 16mm look wider.

Lens dust need check, cause my lens are just putting in camera bag but not in dry box, I don't even have a dry box.


A nice weather, bring out my dollfie to photography with Sony NEX + fisheye.



Also, added a reflector behind the camera to make the avoid the back light.



Is too hot outside there, I can't take more pictures cause just setting up dollfie already make my whole body wet.

In future I will use back my old camera since it still fun to use it.

1st Anime event in Night club

As the title, it is first time I have ever seen, anime events held in NIGHT CLUB.
But fortunately, the time is day time but not at night, that's sounds weird.
And I m really late for this update cause this event is held on January.

The night club is located in Penang Times Square, named SOJU ROOM.
I like the lighting and stage area, and it is big enough as a night club but not enough for an event held.

As the event rent the night club, the rental should be higher than hall or shopping centre, so entrance ticket is necessary. But what I see is, some a lot of people entering without purchasing ticket because of the entrance area too dark and those staff are unable to check when a lot of people passing by.



Location is good, band performance is great, but I not really like those host speaking.


I like the band performance such as the drummer is cosplay as Spiderman !
